Gary Danielson is a former American football quarterback and a well-known college football commentator. Born on September 10, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Danielson played college football at Purdue University. He had a successful college career, which led to him being signed as an undrafted free agent by the NFL’s Detroit Lions in 1976.
